POWAY, Calif. – April 12, 2010 - Core Systems announced today the release of the M220 2U military grade rackmount system.  

The new M220 is a high powered field ready rugged 2U computer system able to withstand 901D shock and vibration along with 461F emissions testing.  The M220 can ship with dual Quad or Hexa-core CPU’s, up to 10TB of storage, 96GB of RAM and has upgradeability to add three PCIe 3/4 length feature cards. 

All M220 systems are designed for long life operation and support.  The short 20” overall depth allows M220 to be mounted in short transit cases and fly-away kits.  Extended temperature kits are available for all M220 models.
