Core Systems in San Diego California November 8, 2007 announces today a new contract with the Agilent Technologies to provide 2U Rackmount computers for their OEM automotive program.

The rack mount 2U systems provided by Core Systems will be integrated into a tool manufactured by Agilent TEchnologies for one of thier OEM automotive products.  Core Systems 2U rack mount enclosures use the latest in long life single board computer technology coupled with leading edge cooling techniques and quality integration procedures.

Agilents Bare PCB's (printed circuit boards) move through auto insertion, which consists of three different types of machines automatically inserting electronic components into the PCB quicker and more efficiently than other methods.

After auto insertion the boards are put on an assembly line where associates install components that are not conducive to be inserted automatically. The PCB's are soldered and tested to confirm the units function. The boards are assembled into frames then tested further for durability.

Agilent's electronic measurement business provides standard and customized electronic measurement instruments and systems, monitoring, management and optimization tools for communications networks and services, software design tools and related services that are used in the design, development, manufacture, installation, deployment and operation of electronics equipment and communications networks and services.
