Core Systems in San Diego CA, June 11, 2007 announces today that it has won a contract to provide JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) integrated 4U rack mount systems for low-noise amplifier for test radar systems.

Core Systems integrated industrial rack mount systems are used in the Deep Space Network telecommunications facility managed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of the California Institute of Technology for NASA. Its primary function is to provide two-way communications between the Earth and the spacecraft exploring our solar system. To carry out this function, it is instrumental with high-power transmitters, low-noise amplifiers and receivers, and appropriate equally spaced longitudinal intervals around the globe at Goldstone, California; Robledo near Madrid, Spain; and Tidbinbilla near Canberra, Australia. Two of the complexes are situated in the northern hemisphere while the third is situated in the southern hemisphere.
