POWAY, Calif. – August 16, 2010 - Core Systems announced today the release of the RSS Series of military grade small form factor (SFF) computer systems.

The new RSS system is a high powered, conduction cooled, rugged small form factor computer system able to withstand 901D shock and vibration along with 461F emissions testing. The RSS can ship with up to a 1.5GHz Core 2 CPU, 2TB of storage, 4GB of RAM and has upgradeability to add one mini-PCI feature card.

All RSS systems are designed for long life operation and support. The small overall size allows RSS to be mounted in UAV's, Robotics units and many other mobile applications. Extended temperature kits are available for all RSS models.
